Now I am developing a new concept that I named a pendulum life. By the way, I renamed it from a swinging life to a pendulum life. In addition, I created this tag (Tag: pendulum life). If you want to see articles about this, please use that tag.
Today, I will introduce why we don’t have to be patient by explaining this concept.
How to reduce impatience
Sometimes, we want to reduce impatience as much as possible and live with peace of mind.
Life in society often stresses us because we cannot live at our own pace. This would be especially true for people with unique individualities. That makes us want to be independent and distant from society. In other words, independence means living at our own pace.
However, we sometimes cannot make it happen soon. Stagnation is a typical example. It makes us anxious and makes us try to be more patient.
This is contradictory. Although we want to be free from patience, we put up with more.
We should be able to improve our states, even little by little. If we can understand it, it will give us peace of mind and hope for our futures.
Today, I will explain more about the concept of a pendulum life. This might allow us to improve our lives steadily and comfortably without patience.
The concept of a pendulum life
We can realize continuous improvements, even without patience. The concept of a pendulum life would make it easier to understand.
To explain it, let me introduce the concept again.
The concept of a pendulum life is to balance our contradictory wants. We progress our lives while swaying our contradictory wants. This reduces our need for patience and allows us to improve our lives steadily, comfortably, and creatively.
Knowing the nature of the pendulum inside us
Imagine we have a pendulum inside us. It is swinging on both sides. These two sides are our contradictory wants, such as a desire to be active or rest, change outside or inside, use our physical or spirit, work for others or ourselves, or be logical or emotional.
Our mood changes based on the state of our pendulums. We have to live while meeting these fickle wants.
The more unique individuality we have, the less we should go against its movement. This is because it causes mental pain. Doing things against our will suffers us. Social life, such as working as employees or cooperating with others, often forces us to act against our pendulum’s movements.
The more individuality we have, the more painful it is as we go against our pendulum’s states. We have to know how to use this nature effectively.
This is the essence of a pendulum life.
Going forward according to the pendulum’s swing
This concept tells us how to improve our lives comfortably and creatively.
One of the most useful things is we can avoid unnecessary goal-setting.
For example, improving our lives means becoming more independent if we are people with unique individualities. That would be the direction of life. However, we sometimes aim for inappropriate goals, such as becoming millionaires and working hard. We believe that the wealth gives us freedom and independence.
However, we want to rest as well. We think resting gets in the way of working hard. Although working hard is a way to realize our independence, it is only one aspect. There is another aspect we want to fill: taking a break.
When we try to be millionaires and work hard, we often feel that we must be patient and keep making efforts while resting as little as possible.
No difference between the way of being patient and the comfortable way
If we see it from the perspective of a pendulum life, we can understand that patience like the above is unnecessary. This is because working hard and resting are both sides to realize independence.
There is almost no difference between proceeding with patience and comfort. Going with patience means taking 100 steps to the right side continuously and 100 steps continuously to the left. On the other hand, going according to the pendulum swinging means repeating to proceed 1 or 2 steps to the right and 1 or 2 steps to the left. It doesn’t make much difference in the long run as long as we head toward independence.
Perhaps going with the pendulum is more efficient because there is less stagnation. We can modify our direction if there is a failure.
That is why we don’t have to be patient on the one side. This awareness gives us comfort to proceed. In other words, we can take a break.
In addition, we don’t have to stick to one specific way. What we want is independence to live according to the pendulum swinging. We don’t have to stick to becoming millionaires.
This awareness gives us the creativity not to stick to one specific way.
Conclusion
That is why we can realize continuous improvements, even without patience.
The concept of a pendulum life would make it easier to understand.
This perspective might reduce our need for patience and allow us to improve our lives steadily, comfortably, and creatively.
