I want to go shopping today in a downtown area a little away from my home, so I will write this article briefly. (I usually blog in the morning of that day.)
Today, I will talk about how to trigger our logical strength.
How to trigger our logical sense
Sometimes, we want to activate and cultivate our logical strength. It limits our intense empathy, as I explained in recent articles. In other words, it allows us to control our emotions.
However, we sometimes don’t know how to trigger and train our logical ability.

One effective exercise would be to decide to wait and do other efficient things. It would help our logical ability. Today, I will explain why.
Wait and do other efficient things
Wait and do other efficient things; it would be an efficient way to activate and develop logical sense. This is because it naturally makes us rational.
The goal of thinking is to solve problems. In other words, thoughts that don’t yield answers are not thoughts; they are distractive activities, like a hobby. That is why we always think seriously.

However, some problems cannot be solved immediately. There are things we cannot understand even if we think of them.
In such a case, the concept of waiting and doing other efficient things gives us rationality. This simple reason is a solution.
An example of protagonists of mystery stories
It is the same as the protagonists of mystery stories. They are rational and encounter a mysterious case. However, they cannot solve it immediately. They think, but after they understand that they cannot see the big picture, they stop thinking intentionally.
They know it is pointless to keep thinking about things they cannot understand. Then, they try to wait and do other efficient things.

They sometimes seek another hint of the case. If there is no hint, they even stop trying to solve it and start to enjoy their hobby that has nothing to do with the case.
“Stop thinking about things with no answer.” — This is an answer from the perspective of logical sense. It can easily solve such a difficult problem.
Nature of empathy
If we have intense empathy, we have such problems with no answer. Inability to solve afflicts us.
Another typical incapability of empathy is to wait. Empathy cannot wait. This is because empathy is a mimicking function. It doesn’t provide new answers for unique problems. It always repeats the answers it knows, so there is no point in waiting.

That quality makes empathy feel anxious if it has nothing to do. Empathy prefers hard work.
That is why empathy always makes us seek worries and stick to the question without answers. Examples are an endless loop of anxiety and seeking meaning in life.
It means that something else needs to limit it. Empathy is incomplete on its own. Logical sense (or sociality) takes on that role.
Training our logical sense
That tells us one efficient way to train our logical sense: wait and do other efficient things. Waiting rationally calms empathy, especially for the matter we don’t know how to solve. Even if it cannot apply the current matter, that can trigger logical thinking.
Any other logical concept would work if it could start to think rationally. I also like the following concepts:
- We never know what is good or bad.
- We don’t know what the future holds and how it unfolds.
- Make sense.
- Follow your principles.
They often activate my logical sense.

Of course, it doesn’t mean suppressing or forgetting the emotion. We keep it in our minds but focus on other efficient things.
It could sometimes be tough because we often cannot do anything until we are emotionally exhausted. However, the more we become rational, the less time emotional upset will be.
Conclusion
That is a way to trigger and train our logical ability.
Wait and do other efficient things.
It might activate and strengthen your logical ability and limit your intense empathy.
Thank you for reading this article. I hope to see you in the next one.
