Creating Our Lives From Scratch Tells Us How to Improve Our Lives

How to change our lives is one of the biggest topics on this blog. So let’s talk about it today. I think creating our lives from scratch tells us how to improve our lives.

How to change our lives

Sometimes we want to change our lives. We always have many desires to improve our lives or reduce our suffering.

But sometimes we don’t have possibilities. We don’t know what to change or how to change it. In other words, we don’t have the logic to improve our lives. So we sometimes despair of hopeless, repetitive days.

In such a situation, creating from scratch might help us. Sometimes, it gives us the logic to improve our lives.

Applying knowledge to other cases

To explain it, let me talk about myself. Recently, I have been creating many things from scratch, such as yogurt, bread, fermented foods, and a tiny vegetable garden. And now, I’m creating fishing gear from scratch. I am still not ready to start fishing, but it is fun.

Then I realized that creating from scratch often gives me many ideas for applying to other cases.

For example, I learned about fermentation. Fermentation is one of the food-preserving methods using bacteria. But it also improves taste because it provides good nutrients for us.

Chain of ideas

Then I found that it could apply to fishing. Fermentation allows me to produce fish feed affordably. I learned that fish also like the nutrients, which are made from fermentation.

And I also realized that I could apply fermentation to growing vegetables. Vegetables get nutrients from the bacteria on their roots. So I can make good soil for vegetables affordably with fermentation.

In addition, creating my garden gave me a good idea for making fishing gear. I can make fishing weights with stones. I collected the soil in the river. At that time, I removed stones because they were unnecessary for the garden soil. But the stones remained in my consciousness. And then I realized I could use it for fishing.

Using primitive things and principles

We can sometimes apply a skill to other uses. Or we can use our waste for other creations.

At such a time, if they are primitive things or principles, we can use them wider. We can use the principle of bacteria widely. We can also use stones or garden waste for many purposes. Because they are primitive things or principles.

“Creating from scratch” means creating it from primitive things or principles. So it gives us skills that we can apply widely.

We can apply this logic to our lives. The more we create our lives from scratch, the more we can use our knowledge and experiences in other cases. It dramatically improves our creativity.

We need several basic materials to live well, such as food, a living place, clothes, health, or freedom. And the more basic the materials, the more affordable and adaptable they are.

On the other hand, the more complex and ready-made we want, the less we can apply the skills to other cases.

Conclusion

So I think creating our lives from scratch tells us how to improve our lives.

If we create our lives with more basic things, we can apply our knowledge and experiences to other cases. It dramatically improves our creativity.

If we understand this logic, we might be able to find ways to make our lives easier.
