Explaining Why Deciding by Mood Is Useful for People Who Want Independence

In the previous article (this article), I explained we can decide based on our moods as long as we head toward independence. This was a discovery for me because I also thought that moving by mood is worthless. However, there was a good way to use it.

Today, I will add an explanation of why we can rely on our moods.

How to use our moods well

Sometimes, we want to decide things based on our moods. We want to be free to work on things at our will.

However, we sometimes cannot behave so because we assume that it is something we should always avoid.

In society, doing things freely without caring about others is always considered to be despised and worthless. The words ‘selfish’ and ‘deciding by mood’ are typical examples. That makes us stop using our moods, follow social values, and exhaust us.

Although these words have some truths, we want to know why we have such natures. In other words, we can use our moods for something. That is why we want to know how to use them effectively.

In my opinion, deciding by mood is useful for people who want independence. Today, I will explain why. This knowledge might allow you to become more independent easily.

Deciding based on our moods to be independent

Deciding based on our moods is useful to proceed toward independence if we want to reduce social stresses. Our moods are a reliable compass that indicates independence.

The reason is simple. Independence means reducing social connections.

Being in society and independence are opposites. Society requires cooperation. It means we have to act according to society, regardless of our moods. If we distance ourselves from society, we don’t have to cooperate with them.

Meeting our moods will make us happy. This is because they are our wants. We don’t have to care about others because there is no other person.

Why moving by mood doesn’t ruin ourselves

Moving by mood will not ruin ourselves as long as we head toward independence.

When we go toward independence, desires make us happy because we can keep improving our lives. Proceeding toward independence means moving away from social convenience. We have to sacrifice social convenience to reduce social stresses.

In other words, facing our own wants is inevitable to be independent. We have to be creative and build our own lifestyle that substitutes sacrificed social convenience. This allows us to be more independent.

Naturally, there are no malicious wants because we part with society. We focus on our well-being. That is why moving by mood will not ruin ourselves.

Desires that make us happy

It means desires when we head toward independence give us a healthy, happy state. I call this happy state the feedback loop of happiness. We can face our desires without evil thoughts, learn sincerely, be creative, and fill ourselves. Even if we fail, we can gain experience and wisdom for the future without regret.

Of course, our wants include making others happy and contributing to society. This allows us to contribute in our own way. Even if we are distant from society, we can do something.

We have to trust our sensibilities. In an independent state, the only ones who know our situation best are ourselves. Distancing ourselves from society means becoming unstable and risky. We have to take responsibility and decide for ourselves.

In such a situation, we neither lie to ourselves nor make a decision that seems to destroy us.

Our moods tell us what we need. They protect us from risks in the circumstances. They are a reliable compass as long as we move toward independence.

Conclusion

That is why deciding by mood is useful for people who want independence.

Independence means reducing social connections. Our moods tell us what we need to protect ourselves from risks.

This knowledge might allow you to become more independent easily.
