Since I have an urgent problem to solve, I will talk freely in today’s article.
How to get the right answer
Sometimes, we want the right answer to solve our problems. A problem and a want are the two sides of the same coin. Where there is desire, there is a problem.
Where there is a problem, there should be an answer. That is why we want the right answer.
However, we sometimes cannot get it soon. That makes us stagnate.
In such a case, focusing on correcting our misunderstandings instead of finding an answer might work. This perspective gives us another approach to the solution.
Two approaches to solving a problem
There are two approaches to solving a problem, as follows:
- Finding an answer: We assume the problem is right. This makes us try to make things clear and change the outside of us.
- Correcting the essence of the problem: We doubt the problem itself and try to find a true cause. This makes us focus on our belief systems and allows us to correct our misunderstandings.
When we cannot find a good answer, the problem itself could be the cause.
My repetitive experiences of misunderstanding
Recently, I experienced it many times. I misunderstood what these problems were.
First, I anticipated my move last month would worsen my life and tried to find another way. However, it was wrong. This new life was not bad at all.
Next, I thought this city, Kitsuki City, was not a good environment due to its historical failure. However, it didn’t matter. I realized I also like a chaotic situation and use its unique resources.
Finally, I was recently constipated and guessed not having fermented foods caused it, so I focused on making good fermented food for constipation. However, it was my misunderstanding, too. The change in my eating habits caused it. Adding a little vegetable oil to my meal solved it, although I don’t know the logic yet.
If you repeat many misconceptions like me, you would doubt the problem itself before looking for the answer. I now disbelieve the causal relationships within me.
A life without an answer
Perhaps this is a way to live independently. We change what we suspect.
This way of life allows us to modify ourselves first. When we live as an individual, we often cannot change a large society or laws of nature.
Avoiding trying to change what we cannot change is a form of wisdom. Although we don’t know that behavior is right, we can at least try another approach. That often solves our misunderstanding of the problem and allows us to break through.
This might be a life without an answer. Although we doubt many things, this way of life is also fun.
Conclusion
When we want the right answer to solve our problems, focusing on correcting our misunderstandings instead of finding an answer might work.
Although we doubt many things, this way of life is also fun.
This perspective gives us another approach to the solution.
