No energy for making money
One day, someone tweeted on SNS, “I want to make money doing what I love, but I don’t have enough energy to do it.”
She seemed to have different characteristics. She loved living quietly in the countryside. And She wanted to value everyday life with her dog, such as cooking, cleaning, walking, growing plants, and sleeping. I don’t know why she came to feel so, but she came to desire it.
We might sometimes feel so. If we have more money, our lives will be better soon. But sometimes we don’t have enough energy to do so.
At such a time, allowing ourselves not to force ourselves to make money might make our minds and situations easier. In other words, perhaps those who want to live quietly are not good at making money.
Savings and making money
I think there are two types of people. First is those who are good at making money rather than savings. And the other is those who are good at savings rather than making money.
In my opinion, one of our natures makes such a difference. The factor is how much we want to connect with society. Those who want to be close to society tend to like earning money more than savings. On the other hand, those who want to take a distance from society tend to like savings more than making money.
Making money means exchanging value with others. When we make money, we need to connect with society. We need the people who buy our products or services. And they decide who to buy from. To engage with others means to engage with society.
In such a situation, those who want to live quietly usually don’t want to engage other people because it is stressful. So we sometimes don’t have the energy to make money.
Savings is also a good way
If we have such a characteristic, I think we don’t have to force ourselves to make money because we can save well.
That is only a difference in lifestyle. We can never say which is better. When we can grow more harvests, society values making things. But in the case of a bad harvest, society will value savings. Both are important.
And I also think that the more stability we want in our lives, the more we value savings.
When we have such a characteristic and difficulty with something, we feel the desire for more money because it seems to be easily solved.
But in many cases, we require time and energy to make money. And if we avoid making money, we need to be creative with savings. Both require different kinds of effort. When we can decide which one to focus on, we will be able to reduce our worries.

So I think those who want to live quietly are not good at making money.
At such a time, we can also be creative with savings. This is also a way to live well.
