Taking a Day Off for Dental Surgery

Yesterday, I went to a nearby dentist due to a toothache. The dentist urged me to go to a large hospital in the neighboring city and receive major treatment.

I have heard that one of my wisdom teeth could cause a problem in the future from another dentist over 10 years ago. It didn’t cause any issues at that time, so I decided to wait. However, looking at the X-ray yesterday, it was clear that it was interfering with the adjacent tooth. The situation changed.

It was inevitable trouble due to the alignment of the teeth. Although I said that stopping a low-carb diet caused the cavity in the previous article, it was wrong. That dental problem was also something that brushing couldn’t prevent. I had to deal with it sooner or later.

Since I prefer to take care of troublesome problems first, I will go to the large hospital and have dental surgery today. I love acting immediately when I decide to do something.

Empathy and postponing pleasure

By the way, empathy makes us want to solve unpleasant issues first. Continuously imagining a stressful situation drains us emotionally.

On the other hand, delaying joy doesn’t cause problems. We can expect the joy multiple times and have fun just by imagining.

That would be why we often do only unpleasant things and put off happy ones.

In other words, we often need to enjoy immediately and consciously. That is a way to balance our lives rationally.

Conclusion

Anyway, I will go to a hospital today.

I hope I get well soon.

Thank you for reading this article. I hope to see you in the next one.
