The concepts I created this year (in 2025)

The end of the year approaches. Let’s review the new concepts I made this year.

My concepts of this year

This year, I changed my fundamental way of living: I intentionally started to judge rationally. That solved my many problems, especially mental issues caused by intense empathy.

The following are the concepts I created this year from older ones.

  1. The dualistic problem-solving method
  2. Pendulum life
  3. Minimalism in Production
  4. The pluralistic problem-solving method
  5. The laws of pudding series
  6. The cookie strategy

Let’s look at each below.

1) The dualistic problem-solving method

The dualistic problem-solving method is a way to solve problems without identifying the cause. This is effective in a chaotic situation with many influencing factors, such as human life, health, or happiness. (The summary is in this article.)

There are two types of judging: the monistic approach and the dualistic one. The monistic approach is that we first identify the cause and look for a solution according to the cause. On the other hand, the dualistic approach is that we think we have at least two contradictory aspects, and losing their balance causes problems.

The dualistic approach suits finding a reasonable solution to the abstract problem with countless influential factors.

This concept freed me from loop thinking. That was the first step of thinking rationally.

2) Pendulum life

A pendulum life is a concept that we are stable in a state of fluctuation. Although it sounds contradictory, it allows us to set a goal from another level. (The summary is in this article.)

We move forward while swinging between contradictory wants. For example, we sometimes become active, but sometimes we rest. It is like a pendulum. Balancing them allows us to proceed. Biasing on only one side eventually causes stagnation.

This concept is another perspective of the dualistic problem-solving method. It freed me from sticking to a superficial goal.

3) Minimalism in Production

Minimalism in production is a concept to satisfy the hunger of life for empathic and logical people. Although it makes it difficult to foresee the future, we can progress our lives and skills with enjoyment and steady improvement.

In addition, it gives us our own way of life and the prototype of our business.

It is the same as minimalism. Minimalism is a lifestyle of living with only essentials. It allows us to adapt to a new environment or situation more easily. In minimalism in production, we create things with as few resources as possible.

This concept led me to the pluralistic problem-solving method, which I will explain just below.

4) The pluralistic problem-solving method

This is an advanced concept of the dualistic problem-solving method. In the pluralistic problem-solving method, we change our perspectives according to the kind of issue. To change our perspectives, we change the number of factors that cause the problem. (The summary is in this article.)

The monistic approach is the simplest, but it is hard to identify the cause. On the other hand, the multiple-element approach is confusing, but it is easy to respond.

This perspective showed me how to handle a matter without an answer. This is the foundation of my rational thinking.

This concept gave me rationality and changed my life. I explained that pleasure as a story of my journey to the Sunlight Country in this article. This was the most impressive discovery this year.

5) Laws of pudding series

The laws of pudding are a collection of principles on how to get energy and hope in our lives.

If we are empathic and logical, we have two criteria: empathy and logical sense. Biasing towards empathy often drains us of the enjoyment of life.

This concept is an application of the pluralistic problem-solving method. This is also one of my favorite concepts.

6) The cookie strategy

The cookie strategy enables us to efficiently obtain fans in the early stages of building our own business.

In this method, we identify the ‘cookies’ in our business field, apply our strengths or preferences to them, and make that part perfect.

That imbalance impresses others, especially if we are beginners.

This concept is also my current foundation.

Conclusion

They were the new concepts I created this year.

They show us that my logic is gradually developing.

Let’s continue to explore new worlds next year.

Thank you for reading this article. I hope to see you in the next one.
