After I finished moving to my parents’ house, I relieved my tension. Since I am not in the mood to explain the mental system, let’s talk about something different: learning a second language.
How to learn a second language
Sometimes, we want to acquire a second language efficiently. Learning about another culture provides us with a new perspective.
One typical culture is language. A language consists of logical structures. When we learn another language, we have to reconstruct the logical common sense within us.
In other words, learning a second language requires our logical flexibility.

In terms of logical flexibility, I am terrible at this field. Although I am logical, I can hardly let go of my old beliefs. For example, I spent decades getting rid of my inferiority complex. Being logical differs from being flexible.
The same goes for my learning a second language. English is my second language. Despite my logical ability, I still struggle to express things in English.
Today, I will introduce my recent way to learn a second language. This might help you be adaptable to another way of thinking.
The novel I recently got hooked on
The way I recently learned a second language is by reading online novels. After I mastered fundamentals, reading a lot of texts helped me get accustomed to the language.
In my case, I read an online novel titled Cultivation Online. Despite its terrible romance part, the whole story was fascinating. This became one of the best novels for me.

These months, especially last week, I was hooked on that novel. During the time I was working on moving out of the previous apartment, I didn’t have much to do. Since I was physically tired, I had been enjoying that novel. Although it was over 2000 chapters and still not completed, I read it all.
That experience made me accustomed to reading English.
Writing vs. reading
Unfortunately, that didn’t improve my blog.
I recently understood that reading, writing, listening, and speaking are completely different things. Reading many novels doesn’t assure I can write this blog easily.
Reading a lot improves our reading ability. Similarly, writing a lot will develop our writing skills.

Perhaps we don’t have to master all aspects of them. Although they are different, they are connected closely to each other. We have to balance them.
Now I am enjoying learning a second language. It is also a logical activity.
Conclusion
That is my efficient way to learn a second language.
Learning a second language makes you logically flexible.
This might help you be adaptable to another way of thinking.
Thank you for reading this article. I hope to see you in the next one.
