Why I Stopped Trying to Improve My Life

There are 2 days left until I leave the current apartment.

While cleaning the room, I enjoyed walking along the nearby beach. There are still few people swimming, despite the recent heat.

These days, I changed my mindset. Although I have tried to improve my life, perhaps I don’t have to do so.

The concept of life stages made me think so. We live each stage of life, and these stages cannot be compared.

For example, suppose we graduated from high school and moved on to a college. We don’t know if that is an improvement or receiving more restrictions. In some aspects, it increases our possibilities, but in others, it reduces them. We are just changing the balance of resources.

The same goes for money. If we try to make money, it reduces other resources, such as time and physical strength. Even if we accomplish creating assets, we lose the fun of making our abundance from scratch.

Although finishing a product makes us pleased, we also feel a little disappointed. After all, creating something is exciting. That motivates us to try the next product.

In other words, we are just balancing our resources. Then, if we adapt to the stage well, the next stage comes.

That is why I stopped trying to improve my life. We are living while balancing our resources well. That leads us to the next stage.
