Contributable Situations Based on Personalities

Now, I am fascinated with the relationship between society and individuality. An inferiority complex I have explained in recent days is one of them. Today, I will introduce contributable situations based on personalities.

How to contribute to society

Sometimes, we want to contribute to society. Contributing to society brings us a lot of fulfillment, such as happiness to make someone happy, self-respect, confidence, gratitude from others, and sometimes more money.

The more we fill what the community needs, the more we will succeed in that community because many people want it.

However, it is often hard to do it because we don’t know where and when we can contribute to communities. In addition, if we are away from such a place for a long time, we tend to feel negative, such as “The world will not change whether I am here or not.” or “I don’t deserve to exist.”

In such a case, the contributable places I will explain below might help. Today, I will introduce it based on our personalities.

The four types of personalities

To explain it, I will use the four types of personalities that I often use, as follows:

We classify people into four types on two axes. One axis is highly empathic or not. The other is whether someone likes to follow social traditions or create new ways. Extroverts are in the majority. Innovative empaths are rare and in the minority.

Where to contribute

These personalities determine where the person can contribute, as follows:

  • Extroverts are suited to contribute to the majority in a stable period. They provide the majority with the skills they have learned to win competition. They are always suited for belonging to a larger community or the majority.
  • Traditional empaths are suited to contribute to a weak community or weak members in a stable period. They provide weak people with the skills they have learned to survive.
  • Innovators are suited to contribute to the majority in a radically changing period. They provide the majority with new ways to progress.
  • Innovative empaths are suited to contribute to a weak community or weak people in a radically changing period. They provide weak people with new ways to survive. They are always suited for belonging to a smaller community or a minority.

The logic of characteristics

Let me explain why.

First, let’s show the axis of whether innovative or traditional.

In a stable period, people who can follow tradition tend to contribute to the community because there are few places to innovate. In such a situation, the larger organizations have an advantage because they have fewer management costs. Those organizations tend to want more people who follow their rules. This is the period when large corporations develop, and smaller businesses decline.

On the other hand, in a radically changing period, the people who can create new ways tend to contribute to the community because there are more places and new materials to improve. In other words, environmental changes provide innovative people with opportunities to contribute. This is the period when small corporations develop, but large businesses decline.

Next, let’s see the axis of the empathic or not.

Empathic people tend to be more fulfilled when they help weak people because they like to help weak people. Those weak people want survival rather than big success. Focusing on how to survive or how to cure leads them to a contributable place.

On the other hand, less empathic people tend to be more fulfilled when they affect the majority because they like to win through competition. The majority want success rather than survival. Focusing on how to win and defeat the weaker competitor leads them to a contributable place.

There are situations in which we can contribute

We have such a difference in personalities. Leaving behind weak people is neither good nor bad. We are collaborating around the world. Someone makes the world better with competition, and they leave behind weak people. At the same time, empathic people help those weak people. That is the reason for the existence of the empathic people.

When extroverts gain an advantage, innovative empaths tend to be weak people. However, the circumstances will always change at some point. In such a period, innovative empaths gain an advantage, and extroverts decline.

We have such roles to survive and progress in these changing circumstances. From another perspective, there are situations in which we can contribute to communities.

Perhaps the readers of this blog tend to be empathic people. If you are an innovative empath, try thinking you are in a sudden, confusing situation, such as war, disaster, or starvation. Perhaps you will feel more energetic because there is more room to be creative and please weak people.

If you are a traditional empath, try thinking if you are with many unfortunate people. Only you are in a stable, calm place. Such a situation will give you the energy to contribute.

Conclusion

The above is the contributable places and situations based on personalities.

We have such roles to survive and progress in this world. There are situations in which we can easily contribute to communities.

This knowledge might help us find and migrate to ideal communities or contribute to our communities.
