Talking About My Living Environment and the Beginning of Moving Toward a Secluded Life

These days, I have had several problems in my daily life. I am now thinking about how to deal with them. Today, I will talk about that problem related to my living environment and the beginning of moving toward a secluded life.

Since this affects my life, this series might be a new topic for a while.

When we have to be forced to change

Sometimes, we experience times when unavoidable forces, such as fate, force us to change our lives. A deadline is set, and we must change by that date, regardless of our will. That frightens us because we don’t know what the future holds.

In such a case, our direction in life calms us down.

Today, I will talk about that through my current situation.

My living environment

I am in such a situation now. I may have to leave my current house until one year later. That troubled me. However, my direction in life, a direction toward a secluded life, calmed me down.

I temporarily live in a vacant wooden house that a relative owns. When she inherited this house, she didn’t need it because she worked in another city with her family. However, she didn’t want to sell or rent it. She wanted to keep the house for her old age, but that was hard for her. A wooden house without inhabitants quickly deteriorates.

At that time, I wanted more affordable rent. When I knew her situation, I realized I could live in this house. I suggested to her that I maintain this house while taking care of taxes and all other maintenance fees.

That is how I came to live in my current house.

This house is located halfway between the urban side and the countryside.

The time to change

Now, the situation has changed. Her children have grown up and started a different life. She began to think of living in this house. In other words, I have no choice but to move.

Something against our will often makes us stressed and worried. My case was the same. I have not yet prepared enough resources to create my ideal lifestyle. I needed a few more years.

That made me feel, “What bad timing!”

The direction that calmed me

However, after being depressed enough, I realized that if I head in the right direction, I don’t have to wait for the perfect ideal time.

It is the same as travel. If we can move toward the destination, transportation or accommodation doesn’t make a significant difference.

Our lives are the same. It is a long run. It is okay as long as we are going in the right direction, even if our circumstances force us to change our ideal plans.

My current direction is a secluded life in the countryside. The countryside is inconvenient. That is natural. That makes me more creative.

That calmed me.

For the unknown future

We don’t know how the future unfolds. When something fateful forces us to change, we worry about the future because we have a high empathy. It is natural.

However, there might not be a significant difference in the long term, as long as the direction is correct.

That sense of direction makes it easier to make a change.

Conclusion

That is my current situation.

Our direction in life calms us down if we encounter an unavoidable change.

Let’s go in the direction of change to create our future.
