Today Is a Day Off: Rambling About Having Bought a New Keyboard for My PC

I had my wisdom tooth extracted last week, and my recovery is progressing well. Since today is the stitch removal, and I need to go to the dentist, let’s talk about my recent experience lightly.

My new keyboard

I bought a new keyboard for my PC. I used the previous one for around 8 years, and some keys I frequently use, such as right arrow and spacebar, had started to break.

I wondered whether to buy the expensive one or the affordable one. Both had pros and cons.

The expensive product would provide me with the best ease of use and excitement. Writing is my main activity, so professional tools would bring out my best without stress.

On the other hand, the affordable one would enable me to stay lightweight. It would prompt me to try new things.

My decision

This time, I chose the affordable one: Logicool’s K295. Since I was particular about my tools, I wanted to try the option I had not picked before.

In addition, I wanted to try going against the crowd’s choice. Nowadays, many people are looking for specialized, expensive, and innovative items. During this period, affordable items are of relatively high quality for the price.

On the other hand, when many people rush to inexpensive goods, and when providers engage in low-price competition, the quality of cheap products tends to be bottomless. During this period, expensive items tend to become more efficient.

That was why I chose an affordable one this time.

It is not bad for me so far. Although I am still adjusting to it, my stress level remains about the same as before. Considering the new one is one-third the price of the previous one, there is nothing to complain about.

Conclusion

Anyway, I will go to the dentist today.

Thank you for reading this article. I hope to see you in the next one.
