Weekend Random Thoughts: The Limitation of Our Recognition

Since I will help my brother’s pastry shop, I will talk about improving management briefly.

Decreasing my fatigue

Recently, I no longer feel completely exhausted even after helping at my brother’s shop.

I may have come to understand how to use my body efficiently. Back when I knew nothing about baking cakes, every muscle in my body was tense.

Recently, I experienced cutting pound cakes for the first time. Bringing the blade down as vertically as possible was a new sensation.

However, as I have gotten used to it, I have gradually become able to release unnecessary, excessive focus and power. That may have reduced my fatigue.

Watching everything, recognizing nothing

Organizing the shop made me realize something: although I seemed to be watching everything, I was recognizing nothing.

For example, there is a packaging room in the shop, which is located between the storefront and the baking factory. I went through that room many times and also did packaging work there.

The wrapping machine in the wrapping room: it wraps items of various sizes one after another.

I thought that if I could add another shelf in the area above that room, they could secure a place for things. It improves the organizing potential.

However, I could not remember whether a shelf had already been installed there. Since my focus was always on the table, I had not paid any attention to anything else.

Almonds before baking. I like nuts.

Our perspectives are often limited, like my experience. Although we believe that we have experienced various things and know enough about the world, we know almost nothing. We only know the places we have focused on that don’t go well, no matter how hard we try.

In other words, we have many opportunities to change our lives.

Conclusion

Anyway, I will help my brother today as well.

Organizing cluttered things is enjoyable.

It is wonderful that we can help someone by doing what we love.

Thank you for reading this article. I hope to see you in the next one.

One day of my reward: sponge cake edges are common, and chocolate is rare.
