Now I am fascinated with the system of rationality. It has freed me from mental exhaustion. Let’s talk about the logic that reassures us about the future.
How to stop worrying
Sometimes, we want to stop worrying about the future. It is mentally tiring.
However, we sometimes cannot. This is due to the belief that continuous thinking helps us find better ideas. The more we focus on it, the closer we should be to the answer. Although this thought makes us relieved in terms of precaution, it also makes us continuously imagine the worst-case future. It disturbs our emotions many times. That exhausts us.

One solution is a realization that our consciousness is rationality. This awareness might allow you to stop continuous worrying. Today, I will explain why.
What is rational behavior?
Our consciousness is rationality. This realization leads us to behave in the following ways:
- We cannot control what we come up with.
- Once we make a rational decision, we don’t have to reconsider it until the situation changes or for a certain, moderate period.
- We can focus on changes that influence our situation instead of repeatedly asking ourselves the same question of how we should do it.
- We can make a rational judgment within 5 minutes.
They free us from worrying. Let’s explain in more detail.
Distinction of what we can control
We have to distinguish what we can do. In other words, trying to do what we cannot do exhausts us.
The typical example of something we cannot do is coming up with new ideas. Although we often believe we create new things, that is not accurate from the perspective of a conscious system.
We are consciousness, which makes a logical judgment. On the other hand, recognizing the situation and integrating ideas are carried out by the subconscious, which we cannot control directly.

All we can do is ask the subconscious and decide rationally based on the information we get from it.
That tells us that it is pointless to repeatedly request the same question to our subconscious, “What should I do?” It is the same behavior as asking the same query to a computer. Naturally, the answer from the subconscious doesn’t change unless the situation changes.
Our role as consciousness is to make rational decisions effectively. If we can fulfill that role in the body, we will naturally achieve balance and be able to live well. Otherwise, it will become difficult for us to live.
Which is more effective?
Rationality tells us we don’t have to reconsider it until the situation changes or for a certain, moderate period.
Instead of repeatedly asking the same question to the subconscious, we can decide once and then focus on the changes that affect our situation. Whenever we encounter a change, we can ask ourselves, “Which of my wants will this change affect?”
Five minutes would be enough to obtain information from our subconscious and determine a reasonable answer. If we cannot judge during that time, it means we have to decide to wait until some circumstances change.
If something changes, the information from the subconscious will also change. It includes the passage of time and the condition of our bodies.

As time passes, our subconscious minds organize the information we receive. That can bring us new ideas.
We also realize that relaxation activates the subconscious. It promotes the integration of information in our deep minds. Relaxing without using our consciousness provides us with a breakthrough.
When we look at our attitude rationally, we notice that continuing to worry doesn’t make sense. If it returns the same answer, there is no need to repeat it.
In other words, don’t try to take on the role of the subconscious. Sticking to that and not making a decision is an abandonment of the role of consciousness. Understand the range of consciousness’s role and play the role correctly. That allows us to live more easily.
Conclusion
That is why knowing about our consciousness can stop worrying.
Our consciousness is rationality. Instead of repeatedly asking the same question to the subconscious, we can decide once and then focus on the changes that affect our situation.
This awareness might allow you to stop continuous worrying.
