Explaining the Logic Behind Getting a Quiet Apartment Home in the Countryside

I live in a new home in the countryside now. It has only been 4 days since I came here. Many things are not prepared, and I am still working to settle down.

Today, I will talk about how I guessed to get a quiet environment, even in an apartment home.

How to find a quiet apartment

Sometimes, we want a quiet environment in which to live peacefully. If we have keen sensitivity, a noisy urban environment often stresses us. That makes us want to find and live in a calm place in the countryside.

However, we sometimes don’t know which area is quiet, especially if we have to live in an apartment.

One of the stresses would be the neighbors’ noises. Although buying a house would offer us tranquility, it is expensive and risky in an unfamiliar area. On the other hand, living in an apartment would be better when we try a new life, but we want to ensure as much tranquility as possible.

In my case, there was no rental house in this area, so I had to choose an apartment.

Today, I will explain how I guessed to get a quiet environment, even in an apartment home. This knowledge might help you find a peaceful place to live in.

My logic to secure tranquility

For this move, I focused most on nature and tranquility. To live more naturally, they were my fundamental. In other words, I wanted to be distanced from society while maintaining convenience as much as possible.

My best answer was to choose the place with the following conditions:

  • Near the sea
  • Not adjacent to the main road
  • An inconvenient place without a car, but a place where I can get by with a bicycle

We will focus on the last item this time.

Why I chose an inconvenient place

In apartments that are inconvenient without a car, I anticipated only those who had a car lived. I guessed such people often went out by car during the daytime. In addition, I thought they were relatively affluent, as they could at least own a car even in areas where rentals are cheap. I guessed such people were often decent.

On the other hand, convenient places where people could live without a car would increase the rate of people staying at home all day. In addition, this is the city with the cheapest rent in Japan. There would be many kinds of people.

I knew our minds were easily upset when we were in a poor situation. I didn’t want to get into social trouble.

That is why I chose a place where I could barely get by with a bicycle. Of course, this is a matter of probability. Many apartments won’t apply this tendency. However, I like such logical decisions. I wanted to reduce risks, although I knew that logic didn’t ensure safety perfectly, and I had to try my luck.

The harsh reality and recovery in my case

Then, I realized that my logic and hopes for a quiet life were gone just 5 minutes after moving into this apartment. That was 4 days ago.

When I walked into the living room, I noticed a strange noise coming from downstairs. I thought some strange guy living just downstairs was banging on something like crazy.

My dream of a tranquil life was over! I thought so. I knew it was a matter of probability. I thought I had enough possibility that my logic worked. However, my hope was gone.

Possibilities don’t always turn out for the better. I was depressed with tears.

However, that was my misunderstanding and too shortsighted. I noticed the distorted echo of the TV downstairs caused that strange sound. In addition, the noise soon went away after the downstairs resident left the room.

Several hours was enough to know that was not a big problem.

Fortunately, my logic worked this time. Now, I can write this article in a quiet room. I am grateful not only for my luck but also for this experience that made me aware that there is always a possibility of misfortune.

Conclusion

That was how I guessed to get a quiet environment, even in an apartment home.

Choosing an inconvenient place could work, although this is a matter of probability.

This knowledge might help you find a peaceful place to live in.
