Since I will help my brother’s pastry shop today as well as yesterday, I will talk about creating improvements briefly.
How to deal with impatience
Sometimes, we want to change our lives as soon as possible. I have also thought so for a long time.

However, the experience of helping my brother’s pastry shop changed my mind. Improvement also requires balance. It means it should neither be too detailed nor too drastic.
- If we become obsessed with specific improvements, we tend to get caught up in superficial things. That makes us overlook what is truly important.
- However, if we stick to fundamental changes, we tend to be unable to notice individuality or differences. Ignoring them makes the creation uniform, causing us to lose the meaning of being ourselves. In other words, we cannot show our individuality.
Focusing on balance rather than speed
In my view, it may be better to make improvements gradually in our daily work. Not too drastic, but not too detailed. It is the rational way.

Improving a deep area makes many superficial efficiencies unnecessary.
However, our preferences are often reflected on the surface. No one can correctly grasp the core of our love or the ideal style from the beginning. We have to assume that we often misunderstand and fail.

In other words, we can proceed while making many mistakes and receiving feedback. Trying to make no mistakes is a fundamentally wrong path.
In my case, I realized that baking the same cookies repeatedly showed me how to progress in my brother’s management. I didn’t need to rush improvements. That may maximize the attractiveness of my brother’s shop.
Conclusion
That is why I stopped trying to accomplish drastic improvement.
Progress requires a balance between fundamentals and individuality.
Avoiding the rush to achievement can show us a more rational path.
Anyway, I will try many things at my brother’s shop, including repeating the same task.
Thank you for reading this article. I hope to see you in the next one.
