Since I will do something different from usual for two days starting tomorrow, let’s talk about it briefly today.
Helping at a cake shop
As the title suggests, I will experience making pastry at my brother’s shop for two days starting tomorrow.
I have two brothers. One is 5 years older than me and manages a pastry shop in a nearby city. Since December is the busiest month for bakeries due to Christmas, he asked if I could help him.
Recently, I have been voluntarily trying to engage in various experiences. If there is no rational reason to reject it, I have tried it.
Now might be a time for me to explore new possibilities. I recently learned that local activities with labor shortages can sometimes bring unexpected benefits. It helps us understand local circumstances, identify local resources we can use, and allows us to build connections.
In other words, we can be more creative. The troubles of others are a source of creativity for creative people like us. That provides us with our unique richness.
When building a new local business, we don’t have to limit our possibilities. No rule says someone who sews bags is prohibited from baking cakes. Different elements often stimulate creativity.
That is why I decided to help my brother.
Conclusion
Anyway, I will try helping with professional pastry making for a couple of days.
By the way, although I have experience baking bread, I can only cook hotcakes in pastry. I am a beginner in this field.
Although I don’t know what I can do, I intend to enjoy the new experience.
