Weekend Random Thoughts: The Difference Between People Who Love to Organize and Those Who Cannot

Yesterday, I started organizing the warehouse of my brother’s pastry shop. It was extremely messy, and that excited me. I love organizing and cleaning up, while my brother cannot. Let’s talk about the difference.

The difference in values

The differences between those who like to tidy up and those who cannot are as follows:

  • Those who like organizing consider having unnecessary things as a liability, while those who cannot treat them as assets.
  • Those who like organizing put things away for future use, while those who don’t do so avoid the immediate additional labor.
  • Those who like organizing value the things they currently use or are attached to, while those who cannot value the things they bought at high prices, even if they are not using them now.
  • Those who like organizing prefer simplicity, while those who cannot prioritize having more, even if it is garbage.
  • Those who like organizing think clarity is a strength, while those who cannot believe that quantity is a strength.
  • Those who like organizing prefer efficiency and improvement, while those who cannot place importance on habits.

I am the former, and my brother is the latter. That may be why my brother’s warehouse was full of garbage.

Although it was in an outrageously messy state, it was a paradise for those who love organizing, like me.

Conclusion

Anyway, I will go to his pastry store today as well.

I will enjoy baking cakes and cleaning up.
